The Future
Home of God’s Pantry Food Bank

God's Pantry Food Bank will have a new home located at 2201 Innovation Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. Our new building will have a transformational impact on the 265,000 people experiencing food insecurity in Central and Eastern Kentucky.

When complete, the building renovation and expansion will support more than 500 partner agencies in 50 Kentucky counties. The renovated building will include an updated office area, expanded shipping and receiving offices, a production kitchen, and an improved reception area. The renovation will also include the installation of an expanded freezer and cooler space, a produce cooler, and a conditioned receiving dock, all of which will aid in increasing the distribution of fresh, healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, meat, and dairy items.

a Nourished Life for Every Kentuckian

The 127,232 square foot building will provide critically-needed infrastructure to expand capacity and meet the need for missing meals, bringing us closer to our vision of a nourished life for every Kentuckian.

breaking ground

We broke ground on our new food bank on October 16, 2023. At the event, Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman joined local officials and leaders of God’s Pantry Food Bank to recognize the expansion of its new food bank in the Blue Grass Business Park.
