Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus® & God's Pantry Food Bank Want to Re-Stock Shelves…..Zing, Zang, Zoom!
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will join forces with Lexington Residents to collect non-perishable food items for God’s Pantry Food Bank, Friday, July 9th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. outside the Rupp Arena box office on High Street.
Everyone who donates at least five (5) non-perishable food items to God’s Pantry will receive one FREE pass (limit two passes per family) to the performance of their choice during the August 27 – 29 event. Patrons are encouraged to exchange vouchers early for best seat availability.
While the summer brings sounds of carefree children playing in the neighborhood, for many children and low-income families, the summer brings stress and uncertainty. For many Kentucky families relying on free and reduced lunches at school, the close of the school year means another stress on an already tight budget. When coupled with the fact that food donations are typically down in the summer months, it’s easy to see the strain that local food banks go through during the summertime.
In an effort to support the community and God’s Pantry, which serves needy families in 50 counties of central and eastern Kentucky, Ringling Bros. wants to reward families for helping others.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey presents ZING ZANG ZOOM opens Friday, August 27th and plays through Sunday, August 29th at Rupp Arena. Tickets go on sale at the Rupp Arena Box Office and All Ticketmaster locations on Friday, July 9 at 10 a.m.
