Subject: Temporary TEFAP distribution adjustments
This is to inform you that, as a result of significant increases in TEFAP bonus shipments and to make sure that food items are distributed to those in need rather than expiring on the shelf, I am authorizing a temporary increase in the TEFAP distribution of certain bonus items.
If your inventory is sufficient to sustain the increases you may distribute up to twice the scheduled quantities of the following items for February and March only.
1. Great Northern Beans
2. Instant Milk
3. UHT Shelf Stable Milk
4. Orange Juice
I remind you to continue to use the FIFO method of inventory control in order to make certain that this move has the desired effect.
